The Tanita RD-545 Bluetooth Body Composition Monitor is Tanita’s most advanced body composition monitor that delivers a detailed segmental and total body composition analysis and accurate body comp readings using BIA and ADF Inner Scan technology. 

This high-capacity body composition monitor can measure up to 200kgs.

The RD-545 has Bluetooth connectivity and connects to the MyTanita app and HealthPlanet app. Your body scan data stored in these apps can be synced to the Apple Health app and Google Fit app. 

In less than 60 seconds, as well as a total body composition analysis, the RD-545 completes a segmental analysis to measure and analyse body fat & muscle mass percentages in 5 key segments of the body.

    Good but not perfect…. And expensive

    The composition data seems ok, however, the usefulness is reduced somewhat by the displayed interpretation of a segmental value being over/average/under which sometimes conflict and/or mislead for various reasons, whether incorrectly mapped values in the app, or for your demographic . Hopefully they can fix these issues to enable a more valuable experience for the high price

    Unfortunately not as easy to use

    Unfortunately not as easy to use as I was expecting for such an expensive scale. To turn on I have to bend down each time to touch this small button. For additional users to access their profile it’s complicated. Also the app seems to overwhelming. If I knew all these I wouldn’t have bought it.

    I removed one star because the pulse measurement does not work every time, and the reading is high.
